Welcome to Toronto!

After a quick hack to take the horses swimming in the ford on Friday morning, we set off to Dulles airport.
And we're off!!

At the airport, our gate attendant noticed the Pony Club logo on Allyson's shirt. As it turned out, she was a graduate B from Utah! Pony Club is everywhere, even in the most unlikely places. Though our flight was delayed and it took a little while to find our luggage, we arrived in Toronto in time for dinner with the rest of the teams at St. Michael's college. We slept comfortably and assumed the role of tourists on Saturday.
Upon arrival.

We took the subway to Union Station on Saturday and walked to the famous CN tower, up which we travelled in an elevator. The 114-floor high tower offered a miraculous view of the city and Lake Ontario.

The CN tower.

After that adventure, we took the subway to a fantastic all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. We all ate way too much. We're now sitting outside on the lawn in the sun, packed and ready to go Canadian Camping in Barrie! Stay tuned for a blog about our banquet and fun scramble competition tomorrow.
